It involves the power men hold over women in certain instances, and the power women hold over each other. It's a combination of spoken word, monologues, and dance. This is an expansion of Unruly Women from five IN ASYLUM.

Participant: theater IN ASYLUM, 2011 The DEATH / MEMORY Project, presented by THEATER IN ASYLUM, was a cabaret style art event presented at New York Theatre Workshop’s third floor space.
The basis of this play, which is dedicated to the American Girl doll, Kirsten, involves the death of someone's childhood. Not only does it have to do with the fact that we do (unfortunately) grow up/ become adults, etc. but more than anything it has to do with the connections we have with certain things as children and how we learn to leave those things behind us someday.
