Christine Drew Benjamin (she/her) is a versatile creative professional who blends her talents as a writer, editor, photographer, and content strategist. With a keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence, Christine specializes in creating compelling content that resonates with audiences across diverse platforms. Her resourceful approach allows her to tackle a range of projects, from refining narratives to curating visually engaging stories.

Driven by a love for both words and images, Christine finds inspiration in the beauty of life's complexities, aiming to capture the essence of the human experience and share it with the world. With a diverse background in new play development, community-centered events, and arts education, she channels her passion for storytelling and advocacy into impactful works.

In the realm of theater arts, Christine's career as a playwright includes works such as Fear the Future (The 48-Hour Creative Quarantine Festival), Castles in the Air (The Big Bear Theatre Project), The Secret Seduction of Little Girls (John Woods Scholarship, Prague Summer Program for Writers), The Purity Play (FullStop Collective), and Carries On (The O’Neill). Additionally, her directing credits include Element 109 (Untold Stories of Jewish Women), Turquoise and Cloves (Occupy the Empty Space), and Estrellas Verdes (Foreplays).

Beyond her artistic pursuits, Christine is deeply committed to advocacy and social change. As a fundraiser, she champions causes close to her heart and is a staunch advocate for Alzheimer's disease awareness, using her platform to shine a light on this important cause. Through her writing, photography, and advocacy efforts, she seeks to raise awareness, support research, and offer hope to those affected by the disease.

Currently, Christine serves on The Big Bear Theatre Project’s Board of Directors as the Grant and Development Director, utilizing her expertise to advance the organization's mission. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in playwriting and a minor in Women's Studies from California State University, Fullerton.
